Sculptures by Jenny Zonneveld

I’ve been sculpting as a hobby for about 8 years now. I’ve been exploring different techniques and materials. It’s now time to show my work to a wider audience. Enjoy!

Ongoing project
At the end of each session I mark up my work so I know where to start next time. I take lots of pictures from all angles. I review the photos at home and check the sculpture is developing according to plan.

Blue Alabaster 2018

Blue alabaster is harder than white and caramel alabaster.
This piece has blue globules embedded in softer translucent stone.
At the exhibition, this piece is displayed on a mirror which adds an extra dimension.

As blue alabaster is no longer available, this piece is not for sale.
Approximate dimensions: 45 x 15 x 15

This inscription was made by Frank Durand, the previous owner of the Beeldhouwwerkplaats in The Hague.

It’s the favourite place in the workshop for photos of finished pieces.
