More about Jenny Zonneveld
I’m Jenny Zonneveld, I’m a native speaker of English and professional translator, copywriter and revisor with more than 25 years’ experience with multinational businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium. Before becoming a full-time language professional, I spent more than 17 years at a firm of Management Consultants, working in the UK, US, Belgium and the Netherlands. I specialised in implementing IT projects and logistics. I moved to the Netherlands about 35 years ago and consider myself bi-lingual.
Professional organisations
I’m a member of several professional organisations for translators and editors. I like to give back to the organisations that help me, which is why I’m a volunteer at SENSE, the Society of English-Language professionals in the Netherlands. From 2015 to 2021 I was chair of SENSE and then webmaster.
Expanding my horizons
I like to travel and have taken to attending conferences abroad, though not recently! This has expanded my horizons both personally and professionally, and given me an extensive network of colleagues. I like to share my knowledge and experiences which has prompted me to speak and give workshops at some of these international conferences.
In my spare time I like to pursue artistic hobbies such as sculpting, drawing and painting.
